Art in the public space

08 MAY 2024

Anne Laure Bandle, partner at Borel & Barbey and Director of the Art Law Foundation (FDA) will act as moderator at a colloquium focusing on the theme of “Art in the public space” to be held on 14 May at the auditorium of the Musée d’ethnographie de Genève.

Organized jointly by the FDA and the Fonds cantonal d’art contemporain (FCAC), this event will convene personalities from both the artistic and legal worlds.

The agenda for this half-day conference will feature the launch of the best practices guide on artworks in the public space – a publication to which Anne Laure Bandle contributed in its drafting and co-authored by the FDA and the FCAC – two roundtable discussions as well as two lectures, focusing on pivotal questions such as: Who is the owner of a work in the public space? What are the restrictions on its use?
