Borel & Barbey advised Swissroc Investment on the legal aspects of the launch of the investment vehicle “Swissroc Industrial Opportunities” in the context of the acquisition of an industrial and logistics real estate portfolio of five properties in French-speaking Switzerland. The transaction, for an overall amount of nearly 50 million francs (including future CAPEX), is part of the optimization and strategic redeployment of BMS’ retail outlets, owned by BME Group. The acquisition took place at the end of March 2021. This is a major step for the Swissroc Group, which is structuring the transaction through the launch of the “Swissroc Industrial Opportunities” investment vehicle.

Swissroc Industrial Opportunities mostly invests in logistics’ real estate assets, such as warehouses. Swissroc Industrial Opportunities is also interested in other areas that are developing in industrial zones, such as data centres and trade.
