Celebrating ‘L’Escalade,’ an annual festival that commemorates Geneva’s triumphant defense against Savoyard troops attempting to conquer the city on the night of 11–12 December 1602.
As is tradition, the symbolic breaking of the chocolate pot was carried out by the oldest and the youngest this year – Olivier Dunant and Sevan Tchoulfayan – supported by Célia Martin, Célia Durand, Rebecca Fernandez and Sakina Shahadat.
We also take the opportunity to congratulate the Borel & Barbey members who took part in the popular ‘Course de l’Escalade’ that occurred on the first weekend of December, bringing together more than 46,400 participants. Cheers to their motivation, tenacity, and endurance!
