Guest writer for the Tribune de Genève, Josef Alkatout comments in his latest article on the decrease in child abduction cases, partially attributing this trend to the 2016 landmark decision by the Swiss Supreme Court (ATF 142 III 481).
This decision lowered the requirements under which a parent can relocate abroad with a child, thus, having as a “secondary effect” on international child abduction.
